Fire Sprinkler Systems

Sprinkler systems can detect a fire, transmit an alarm and control the fire. Swift response can be the difference between a small incident and a major business close down. Led by professional project managers, Wormald’s engineers design, install and commission reliable, cost-effective sprinkler systems by thoroughly analysing your site in terms of occupancy, operation and fire risk. Water Spray Deluge Systems

Water spray deluge systems are used in hazardous environments where fires can spread quickly or where important/valuable equipment surrounding the fire needs to be cooled. These systems are designed for use in a variety of special hazard applications. At the core of our systems are specialised spray nozzles, positioned at the correct location, to rapidly bring fire under control and stop it from spreading.

Water Mist Systems

Water Mist is a useful and highly efficient fire-fighting method. What sets Water Mist apart from traditional water based systems is its reduced droplet size. When a droplet of water vaporises, it expands by some 1,600 times. Because heat absorption is a function of surface area and not volume, smaller droplets mean more surface area and therefore faster heat absorption.  

Foam Systems

Foam systems effectively smother and contain the fire.  This is the ideal fire protection for flammable liquids. Foam systems must be delivered to the fire efficiently and in a controlled and directed manner so our designers can analyse your facility, the fire risk present and consider the likely scenarios. Vehicle Fire Suppression

When you combine heat, flammable liquids, turbo chargers, exhaust fumes, electrical components and brakes in the enclosed space of the engine compartment, the potential risk of a quick and enraged fire is high. Inergen® Gaseous Systems

Inergen® Gaseous Systems are one of the most technically advanced fire suppression systems available.  Unlike older CO2 systems, Inergen® is completely safe to people, without adverse effects on anyone remaining in the protected area when released.  Its components are naturally occurring atmospheric gases, so there is also no negative impact on the environment.
